The time i spent Studying design at columbia college chicago taught me to collaborate and stay inspired by unique ideas. Borrowing and remixing in order to create a whole new "animal" has always been my main goal. I strive to create material that is functional yet stays current with the demands of today's technological changes. My personal process starts off with a sketch or a doodle, however, i yearn for its growth and to feel a tangible object. My experience with animation peaked an interest to watch my sculptures move through space and come to life. My goals for the future include but are not limited to:
- Creating album cover illustrations for up and coming musical artists.
- Sculpting promotional collectibles for said artists.
- starting up an animation studio Co. that can deliver animated music videos.
One day i will publish a graphic novel, but for now i wish to create small shorts or zines for local magazines. I ask myself would major music labels want graphic renditions of its artists?
to do all this i use today's social media tools to gain exposure. Perhaps crowd funding is in the future.
All in all, my main objective is to keep creating, remix and collaborate.
art + Design is an umbrella i choose to stand under, lets use it to shower thoughts and cultivate unique forms of creativity.
